Sorry.. been a long time lurker on these forums, but first time poster.
Thought I could maybe get some advice from others on here.
Sprint recently messed up my parents account (retention plan). What had happened was I went into the sprint store with the intention to just change the billing of my parents account to my name so that I could pay for their plan. You figure it would be plain and simple to change the billing like that. Well, I was wrong. They have been out of contract for quite sometime and are eligible for 150 phone upgrade. I was planning on adding them onto my plan once my contract expires (in a month). This is where sprint screwed up! Wasted a lot of time and gas to get the phones at least up and running.
Here’s there old plan:
750 Anytime Mins - $40
Unl Mobile to Mobile
Unl Nights and weekend - 8pm
AAP - $10
5% - Loyalty disc.
New Plan - that sprint just converted to.
Sprint power pack plan
550 Anytime minutes - $59.99 monthly charge
Unl mobile to mobile
Unl nights and weekend - 7 pm
Signed into a 1 yr contract that I didnt agree to.
Basically they screwed up my parents lines where we had to reprogram the phone lost all voicemail messages saved previously and now I’m paying a higher price for lesser minutes then they originally had.
I called retentions today and explained the situation but IMO they offered nothing much. I was told by the rep that they couldnt add my parents 2 lines to the shared retention plan that I have. He stated that it was a old plan and said that he never was successfull in add lines to a plan like mine. He never attempted to try but insisted that it wouldnt work.
My Plan:
1200 Anytime mins - $60
PV - $15
Unl mobile to mobile
Unl nights and weekend - 8pm
FIMF
15% - employer disc
This is what he offered.
1400 Anytime Min - $89.99
2nd Line - included
3rd Line - AAP waived (-$10)
Unlimited Nights and weekend - 7PM
Unlimited Mobile to Mobile
FIMF all 3 lines
PV for first line $5
He insisted that he couldnt give me a loyalty disc even though I had one on the other plan. This plan he offered is basically the Sprint Power Pack Family plan I think?? Im surprised that was the best he said he could do!
Sorry for being long winded but… would like some advice. Is this plan offered worth it? Do you think I could do better?
TIA…
