Retentions When I’m Not the Account Holder?
So I’m on a shared plan with 2 phones, and the contract on my line (which is *not* the account holder’s line) expired on December 15th. I want to talk to Retentions and try and get a Mogul as an upgrade (for a bit cheaper than the standard price, of course) and free unlimited texting if possible.
Will Retentions even talk to me if I’m not the account holder? If so, what information will I need to give them for validation that I’m on the account? For various reasons it’s easier for me to call Retentions than have the account holder do it.

Ive tried three times so far to get a discount on a Windows Mobile phone. Twice with reps on the phone (dont think it was with retentions), and once with eCare. I explained how I paid 400 for a Mogul upgrade from a third party and got ripped off causing me to send back the phone. Sprint will not budge at all, telling me I am only approved for a $75 discount since I am only 17 months into my contract. Think I will get a better offer? Any suggestions on my strategy? The only reason I am interested in a Windows Mobile phone, and why I got the mogul in the first place, is because I recieved a unpaid internship in a IT dept and PUSH email is crucial. Remote Desktop from a phone is useful also.
Am I over paying?
Ok I really needed a new cell phone after cancelling with AT&T so I went to the sprint store and got the M300 just to get started but then saw the Q9c and fell in love. To my demise I was told I had to goto the sprint kiosk I got my M300 from instead which I wasn’t able to do so I went ahead and got another plan with the Q9c and called to cancel my line with the M300.
After calling I guess the retention department I was sent to a very nice CSR named Mark. He said he could give me a "special plan" that would combine my 2 seporate (450 PowerPack)s into 1 Family plan. Here’s what I eventually ended up with…
2 lines, one of which I am NOT using, 1,000 minutes all for $40.
Then he offered me Unlimited SMS for $8 so I took that.
So after all of thise I called to add unlimited web and data so I could use my phone as a modem and they tell me it’s already there… so here’s what I have now.
1,000 Minutes
Unlimited Mobile to Mobile
Included Roaming and Long Distance
Unlimited Power Vision
Unlimited SMS TXT
$48/month
Now I’ve seen people paying $20 or so for what seems just as many features through discounts and smooth talking… is there anything I can do to bring the bototm line down or does that seem fair to everyone else?

Need help-Roaming charges!
I just got my cell phone turned off because I am late paying a $271 cell phone bill (I Have SERO so this is like what 10 months of service would cost me) I have had Sero for 2 years, and have always paid my bill on time, etc, etc. Never had any overages or anything like that.
Has anyone had luck getting some or even all of roaming charges waived? We were on a cruise ship DOCKED in Miami and my phone did not show that is was roaming and it should not have been. I have not called in yet to argue this but when I went in to the Sprint store, the guy there was proactive and called for me and he was shot down. He said I might have better luck when I call..yeah right, I doubt it.
Perhaps I could use the missing $100 rebate I never got when I bought the Q nearly a year ago as some leverage. Would it be best to call retentions? Email? What do you suggest?
Any feedback would be most appreciated as I HATE calling Sprint. Takes forever and they alway mess things up!
Has any luck getting Sprints Grenade Plan? $99 or 120 Unlimited
I wanted to see if anyone has had luck getting the $120 or $99 unlimited plans with sprint, they called it the grenade plan, has anyone had any luck with this? Could anyone point me in the right direction as to getting this plan?

i was wondering is there a way to delete or omit the missed message beep & also if i load songs on my storage card is there a way i can use them as my ringer?

I currently have a data card and a voice line with Sprint.
I’m happy with the data card and that contract doesn’t end for about 11 months. The voice line ends in about 7 months. The current plan is:
F&C 300 - $30
Vision Picture Pack - $10 with offsetting credit
Unlimited text - $8 with offsetting credit
Nights 7PM - $5 with offsetting credit
no roaming
10% loyalty and 25% volume discounts
The only thing I would like to change on this plan would be the number of minutes I have, 300 to something more… 450 would probably be sufficient.
I know that with SERO, there may or may not be the possibility of adding a volume discount. Whereas my currently plan is "somewhat" close to the SERO plan. So I wouldn’t want to go to SERO since I could be paying more than the $23 after taxes I’m paying now.
Questions:
1) Would Sprint be open to renewing early?
2) I’m looking to get a PDA as the replacement for the A640 and was leaning toward the Centro. Thoughts on this phone?
3) Any other phones worth getting at a reasonable price?
4) Possibility of getting the Centro for free? Since it is now $99 on the Sprint site.
What could I reasonably get?
