Hello..
Been a long time lurker here, thanks for all the wonderful info but now I have a question of my own.
I’ve been a Sprint customer for 10-11 years. My first plan was the 20 minutes for $17.99
— anyway..
I’ve had the same plan for probably 8 years. It’s an old employee plan that I got when I used to sell Sprint phones. My plan is the following..
$15 for 750 anytime
$5 for 300 SMS Messages
$10 for 1000 night and weekends
I don’t get any discount or anything, as where I see some people get a 10% off loyalty thing (valued customer)
That’s it, and while it’s a good plan, I have no data, and have to watch my text messages. 95% of my phone usage is text messaging, and would be with web access if I had a plan that didn’t charge me for it.
I’m really looking at the BlackBerry Curve. So, my question is what is the best way to approach this? Should I call customer service first? Should I just call Sprint and say I want to get info on canceling to talk to a retention person?
The phone I have now has almost no battery life, and isn’t very good overall. I’m 2 months away from qualifying for a new phone with a 2 year contract deal, and when I called the normal customer service line they told me that I’m SOL and need to wait the 2 months to upgrade. He even told me to go to eBay to get a new battery.
Thanks for the advice everyone!
