I have a Samsung M520 Phone and I want to use it as a Modem, I have the Everything Data Plan - what software should I use? I called Sprint CS and they told me that the plan I have doesn’t allow for Mobile Modem, but I do have unlimited internet via phone.

I know someone has to know of a software that will allow me to use it as a Modem on my laptop..

I tried the Sprint Software but it requires an unlock code…

Im on the SERO plan and today I received an incoming call from someone in Australia. Do I get charged extra for that or does it just use my minutes since I didnt make the call?

I just bought a family data plan with 4 lines (4 blackberry phones) from Sprint corporate store a couple of weeks ago.

Last weekend, I went to a local electronics store in town that sells Sprint phones/plans. This store offers these phones for a penny a piece and no rebates.

When I signed up at the corporate store, I paid $800 for 4 phones (before rebates) or $400 (after rebates). Is there anyway I can return the 4 phones to the corporate store and buy 4 phones at this local electronics store? I’m still within the 30-day trial period. I didn’t realize there is such a big difference in prices between the two stores.

My questions are: Can I return these phones to the corporate store but still keep the plan and lines active, then buy the phones from the other store and attach the new phones to my existing plan and lines? Will sprint corporate store allows this? I was told that if I am still in the 30-day trial period I can return and buy phones from any stores that sell sprint phones/plan. Is this true? I don’t want to return the phones to the corporate store and find out that I have to pay full price for the same phones at this electronics store.

It would be a nice saving for me ($400).

Hope to get an answer from this forum before my 30-day trial period is up.

Any of you guys know if I buy the 8703E Blackberry phone off of ebay could I just keep the simple SERO plan without adding the expensive Blackberry plan? Could i get on the internet with my SERO data or I would just use the phone for calling and texting…

Im currently a sprint customer under my sisters account. i really want the HTC Touch Pro (whats ur opinion of the pro) but i cant spend 330 dollars on a phone. So i contacted customer service and asked them about available discounts on the phone and she told me that the phone would cost me 330 dollars and when i said why am i expected to pay 330 when i other people have gotten it for 125 or cheaper? all she said is that she is unable to answer that. so i said how much would it cost to cancel my phone she said 120 and then asked if i wanted to be transferred to account services so i said yes but then was holding forever. Considering i have no experience with dealing with negotiations like this what do u guys suggest? Also, if i did get the Touch Pro what type of plan would i be required to get if any? and also on a side note i work at krogers and want to get the discount but they always ask me for an employee email and i dont have one, what do i do to get that?

I just wanted to let people know about the possibility that your Echat transcipts can be pulled up. When I went to Echat I told the rep that I had spoke with another echat rep about the same problem and she told me to hold on while she looked at that chat. She pulled up that chat and read to me word for word what was said and found out that the previous rep was wrong with the information he gave me.

So a word to the wise if you use the Echat method to contact Sprint customer service, the entire chat can probably be pulled up, so it’s not just the notes that the rep left on the account, it’s the whole conversation. You might wanna becareful what you say because it could backfire on you!

Is there a way to have the cancellation fee waived for a customer with an old bill that would like to return to Sprint? She lost her job and was cancelled. Now that she is working, she would like to return to Sprint if she can get the fee waived. She called CC and was told there was no way to have this done.

A lot of people have posted that sprint wont give you monthly recurring bonus minutes. I used the ringer2008 promo code and bought a ringer, but it charged me 2.50. So I used echat and asked her if she would issue me a credit and she said she could give me 75 bonus minutes for 24 months without extending my contract. I guess this is better than a credit.

I am a very brief person but here it go’s. I moved, the new area were I am at in my house the overage is poor. I used to get 5 bars, now I receive 1. And I get dropped calls. After reading here I contacted ecare and inquired about an airave. ( I am cheap and the moved cost more then I thought and my New Job that was suppose to start last week wont start til Feb9th) And asked If I could get a freebie and a small credit to start the service , if it helped I would pay the 5.00. I was told in seconds NO. I tried a 2nd rep and was given the run around about we ( sprint ) dont guarantee service …blah …blah …..

Been a customer for 5 years, although my account shows 1. Major error on my old account and sprint had to create a new account. Which confuses every single rep. Especialy when I had a 2 year upgrade recently on the 2nd line.
