Sprint is the only thing that works out here, and it sounds like it’s got great customer service and stuff. So I would like to have sprint, but I would need a comparable plan. I’m looking for any sort of discount or anything to say to a costumer rep. that would give me any sort a really inexpensive plan with like no minutes, (and preferably a text package or unlimited text, but doesn’t have to be) and the $5 per month per line call home feature, for around $20 a month.

I can’t spend a lot of money, I’ll be a busy pharmacy student for the next six years and I’ll already be like $200000 in debt, lol… I don’t talk a lot, I just want to be able to call home and not spend a lot of money doing it. I also won’t take anything like tracfone, because that’s what my parents have and their customer service and everything else is horrible. Verizon and sprint are the only two that work on my campus, and sprint is the only one that works in my house. If anyone could help, that would be amazing!! Thank you!

p.s. my campus is Ohio Northern University, and I don’t think it has any discounts

I got the replacement phone today, and the battery that came with it was completely dead and would not charge. I called sprint, they connected me to tech support. Tech support told me to go to a store and they’d swap the battery for me. I go to the Sprint store and they swapped the battery for me.

So far so good.

Now, I transfer all my contacts over to the new phone and activate it online. after getting a few calls/texts i immediately noticed that the vibrator on the new phone was EXTREMELY weak compared to my older phone. I confirmed this by plugging in the charger in both phones (this triggers a vibrate) and again, it was a lot stronger on the newer phone. So, I went back to the store and showed this to them and the greeter told me to call *2 and tell them my issue. I thought this was weird especially because I drove a good 10 miles to go to a sprint store that had a service and repair center.

Anyway, I got home and got busy with other things. I finally got around to calling customer service 30 mins ago and got transferred to tech support.. who said she has no idea why the vibrator is weak and she’ll transfer me to Palm support (never knew it existed). That tech said that she will replace the replacement phone and put me on hold for about 10 minutes. After 10 minutes she said that it’s not letting her do an exchange and to go to a sprint store. I honestly dont feel like wasting my gas and going all the way back out to that store.

What do you guys suggest I should do? Should I call retentions tomorrow and explain my situation?

Four years ago i started working for BestBuy and called sprint up and asked them for a discount as i worked for BestBuy and i knew i was entitled one (BestBuy tells all employees of their employee accomodation posibilities on their portal.)

I’m wondering if what we are getting is a good price, fair price, should be lower, or "damn they’ve got you snow jobbed"…

We are receiving a 22% discount on ALL services\addons\whatever on the bill (IE: 22% of unlimited txt msgs, 22% of PCS-Vision pack on my phone, etc).

I forget what was said but we’re also receiving not only 22% off on some add-ons on my stuff but they chopped it in half in addition to 22% off… this was YEARS ago that this happened.

BTW, in the photos\screenshots i took the numbers\prices you see are BEFORE the 22% discount, those are the prices when chopped in half though. Our normal bill is around $55-58\mo

That was then and today is now. I am out of contract and I am planing on signing a new contract and I want to get another absolutely amazing deal again. I have been with Sprint for 10 years and my credit with them is impeccable; since 10 years, I never paid my bill late or gave them any sort of trouble.

My main goal here is to spend as little as money as possible yet getting a whole bunch of stuff(thnx, mr. obvious lol). In fact, I am going for the $29.99 a month plan for 200 minutes. And since 4 years , I got so many great and numerous incentives, I am assuming I should get a lot of stuff especially since I have been with them for 4 more years with excellent commitment. So what is everything that I can ask for?

These are what I want as incentives to go along with my $29.99 a month plan:
-Since last time they gave me 15% off my monthly bill, I want to ask for 25% off this time.
-Some extra minutes thrown in for free.
-A certain amount of free text.
- Any sort of "myfave5" type of deal for free if sprint offers it.
-First minute of incoming call free
-Nights to start at 6P.M. for free.
-A free phone

Feasible(well, it was four years ago and since I have shown my loyalty for 4 more years, I am sure I can get a lot)? Any other advice?

Also, when I call up Sprint, I should I approach these matters and what are the right and wrong things to say to the rep.?

If it helps, Sprint called and offered it to me. But I said I would think about it, because at the time I was still hoping to get the Instinct (but did not want to pay for the data plan).
