1000 free texts and/or unlimited texts for $7.50?
I want to know if there are any lower minute options with unlimited data (because there is NO way we will use 1500 minutes, especially with the unlimited to ANY cell calls) and I don?t want to pay the $25 more just so my step daughter can have the new phone!
I do not remember all the specifics of last plan but I was paying about $100 or so with 3 phones, main line, and 2 family added. The new plan is $125 I think ($100 for first 2 and $25 for extra line) (that is WITH my employee 23% discount already).
Are there any options/ways to get less minutes or pay less and still keep the unlimited data plan so we can keep the palm pre (or dump the unlimited data and still keep the palm pre)?
I already swapped plans so probably no way to go back to what I had because there were a LOT of add ons/etc over the years but I want to lower the bill.
Any options/ideas?

Well, the system best buy uses doesn’t even allow access to my account, because it’s set up as an Employee Account. The Rep there was nice enough to do so digging, and found out that the only way I can add a line is through Employee Care, and from there my daughter could get a second line, and it would be a EDRP line. Everything Referral Plus I think is what she called it.
Normally, I would be fine with that except to do it through them, out of pocket I have to pay $279.99 and wait 8-14 weeks later for my $100 rebate. As compared to Best Buys offer for the moment is $99.99.
So here is my question, is there any ideas anyone has to possible develop a work around to do this at Best Buy? The idea here, is my daughter doesn’t have enough credit, and there for will have a hefty deposit. Is it possible to make a second account through Sprint at Best Buy? Maybe a Business account, but really it would just be my daughter using it?

What’s the best way for me to upgrade to the Hero, and keep the cost around $50? If I got a phone thru Citi or Accenture, do I upgrade my plan through them on the website when picking a new phone, or should I change plan and then get the phone? What plan should I switch to? What about the $20 recurring credit?
I may end up jumping on my family’s Verizon family plan - $10 to add a phone, $30 for data, and $5 for 250 text. Not the greatest and I really don’t want to do it.

The rep who did the TOL said i couldnt get the $20 credit because it is now a new account in the system so its not able to get the $20 credit, seems like a valid reason.
is there any "new customer" discounts? any perks for switching carries or some other in i can exploit to get some kind of discount? my plan is nothing bad and if it stays how it is i wont complain at all but discounts are always nice lol.

id be happy to get even a $10 discount for the term of the new contract.
(fwiw the TOL was just to take the line from my moms name to my name and my credit check said i was good for 5 lines with no deposit and no spending limit.)
