1000 free texts and/or unlimited texts for $7.50?

I called in couple times the last 3 days and asked for the 1000 free texts or the $7.50 unlimited texts but was denied. I even spoke to a supervisor, BS with him a little bit, but no luck. I was told these offers were expired and no longer being offer. Is this true? 1000 free texts and $7.50 unlimited texts no longer available for us?

Other plan options then unlimited data and 1500 minutes

I just upgraded one of my phones on my existing family plan (palm pre) and they said I HAD to have unlimited data plan (don?t know why cause I basically already had it with add ons n stuff, but whatever) and the lowest/cheapest plan is the unlimited data plan with 1500 minutes. This is costing me about $25 MORE a month then my previous plan was.

I want to know if there are any lower minute options with unlimited data (because there is NO way we will use 1500 minutes, especially with the unlimited to ANY cell calls) and I don?t want to pay the $25 more just so my step daughter can have the new phone!

I do not remember all the specifics of last plan but I was paying about $100 or so with 3 phones, main line, and 2 family added. The new plan is $125 I think ($100 for first 2 and $25 for extra line) (that is WITH my employee 23% discount already).

Are there any options/ways to get less minutes or pay less and still keep the unlimited data plan so we can keep the palm pre (or dump the unlimited data and still keep the palm pre)?

I already swapped plans so probably no way to go back to what I had because there were a LOT of add ons/etc over the years but I want to lower the bill.

Any options/ideas?

Go straight to voicemail on any mobile number

It’s a free service called SlyDial. Dial (267) 759-3425, wait for the prompt, and enter the mobile number you’re trying to reach, and it will send you to their voicemail directly, without their phone ringing. It’s especially useful if you have important information to impart, but you don’t have time for an actual conversation (or if it’s late, and you don’t want to wake anybody). It’s a great service, and I use it constantly. I know there’s supposed to be a code for Sprint phones that does pretty much the same thing, but it only works when you’re calling another Sprint phone. This works with ANY mobile number. Enjoy!

Blackberry w/o bis hack

I just wanted to verify with anyone that currently has the bb w/o bis hack setup on their device, are you still able to use the browser to get online. In the past I have not had any issues with this hack on numerous phones but I tried the hack today and it seems that the bb with the hack is not able to get online. thanks

Add-a-Line with SERO account

So here is my situation. I currently have a SERO line, but my daughter is looking to get her own cell phone. She is also interested in getting the Samsung Moment. We went to Best Buy today to add a line to my account, under the impression I could have my SERO line, and have a basic consumer individual line as well.

Well, the system best buy uses doesn’t even allow access to my account, because it’s set up as an Employee Account. The Rep there was nice enough to do so digging, and found out that the only way I can add a line is through Employee Care, and from there my daughter could get a second line, and it would be a EDRP line. Everything Referral Plus I think is what she called it.

Normally, I would be fine with that except to do it through them, out of pocket I have to pay $279.99 and wait 8-14 weeks later for my $100 rebate. As compared to Best Buys offer for the moment is $99.99.

So here is my question, is there any ideas anyone has to possible develop a work around to do this at Best Buy? The idea here, is my daughter doesn’t have enough credit, and there for will have a hefty deposit. Is it possible to make a second account through Sprint at Best Buy? Maybe a Business account, but really it would just be my daughter using it?

Best way to upgrade to the Hero?

I have a Treo 700wx (ancient, I know) that has issues and requires me to constantly pull the battery. I have the Sero 500 plan. I want to get a Hero.

What’s the best way for me to upgrade to the Hero, and keep the cost around $50? If I got a phone thru Citi or Accenture, do I upgrade my plan through them on the website when picking a new phone, or should I change plan and then get the phone? What plan should I switch to? What about the $20 recurring credit?

I may end up jumping on my family’s Verizon family plan - $10 to add a phone, $30 for data, and $5 for 250 text. Not the greatest and I really don’t want to do it.

Thanks for any and all help. I greatly appreciate any advice.

I just changed a SERO to an Everything450 and then did a TOL.

The rep who did the TOL said i couldnt get the $20 credit because it is now a new account in the system so its not able to get the $20 credit, seems like a valid reason.

is there any "new customer" discounts? any perks for switching carries or some other in i can exploit to get some kind of discount? my plan is nothing bad and if it stays how it is i wont complain at all but discounts are always nice lol.

right now i have:

Everything450 $69.99
FIMF free
18% corp discount

id be happy to get even a $10 discount for the term of the new contract.

(fwiw the TOL was just to take the line from my moms name to my name and my credit check said i was good for 5 lines with no deposit and no spending limit.)

sprint discount for a AOL email account

Has anyone heard of sprint giving a discount for customers having a AOL email account? I was at a bestbuy the other day and one of the bestbuy employees told my girlfriend and I that sprint was doing this? I called sprint today and the cs rep. told me they didn’t have any discounts like that? Was I talking to the right cs or did I get the wrong info. from the bestbuy employee? I usually try and ask the cs people at sprint if I am getting all the discounts that I am entitled to and they always give me a "little" something. I just want what is fair. I have been with sprint for almost 10 years now,coming up on 11. Thanks for the info. anyone can give and for all the help. This site rocks!!!!
